Bravery Boxes - Ben Grosskopf
Bravery Boxes

Our Story
My name is Ben Grosskopf. When I was 14, I was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma and spent over nine months living in a hospital room.
That's a lot of time to feel like you're disappearing—not physically, but in the way people start seeing you. Suddenly you're "the patient." "The guy with cancer." I had a whole personality, but inside those walls, it was easy for everyone (including me) to forget that.
That's why I started Bravery Boxes.
Every box we send is built for one specific kid—not "pediatric patients" as a category, but a person with a name and a favorite color and a weird obsession with a particular Squishmallow. We ask families what their child actually loves, then build something that says: we see you. The whole you.
Most kids we work with are between 10 and 18. Boxes include things like Squishmallows, Oodies, room decor, LEGO, and radiation-safe skincare. If you'd like to request or refer a box, you'll find everything below.
